Key inclusion & exclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Children regularly enrolled in the third year of elementary school; attending school during the school calendar in the data collection period; in the age group from seven years; both genders; able to develop activities that include reading words and phrases; understand the guidelines for the development of activities explained by others.
Exclusion criteria: Children who were separated due to illness or those with special needs, identified by the class teacher, that made it difficult to understand questions of the questionnaire and the information of the game, making it impossible to participate in the educational intervention.

INTERVENTION GROUP:
Number of participants: 58
Procedure: Application of a questionnaire to characterize the scores about the knowledge about breastfeeding among students, the same day, before the implementation of the intervention. Application of the same questionnaire on the 7th day and 30th day after the intervention.
Intervention: Board game on breastfeeding, developed and validated for this research.
Frequency: The game will have one game start. Questionnaires will be applied 3 times: the same day of the intervention, before the game, in the 7th and 30th day after the intervention.
Duration: The game will have an estimated duration of 50 minutes for each match. The individual interview to the questionnaire will have an estimated duration of 3 to 5 minutes.
Administration: Intervention (board game): The board game can be 2 to 5 participants. The principal investigator will explain the rules to the class, students will be divided into five groups and instructed to play two matches. Quiz Application: The research team will individually interview each child performing on breastfeeding questions and they should respond to the statement is correct, wrong or do not know the answer.

GROUP CONTROL:
Number of participants: 58
Procedure: Application of a questionnaire to characterize the scores about the knowledge about breastfeeding among children. Reapplication of the same questionnaire on the 7th day and 30th day after the first application.
Intervention: Application of a questionnaire by individual interview. There will be no intervention in this group.
Frequency: The questionnaire will be applied 3 times: on any date, and after the seventh and 30th day after application of the first questionnaire.

Primary Outcome(s)
Average increase in scores on the knowledge about breastfeeding in school who participate in the intervention (intervention group) through the board game.

This outcome will be checked by comparing the means of questionnaire scores for assessment of children's knowledge about breastfeeding, which will be applied before the board game (intervention), seven days and 30 days after the intervention in both groups ( control and intervention).
Secondary Outcome(s)
No secondary outcome, it is not possible to say that children will breastfeed during adulthood.
