Inclusion Criteria:

- Patients who received antibiotics for presumed infection

Exclusion Criteria:

- Prolonged therapy (eg, endocarditis)

- Severe immunosuppression

- Severe infections (due to viruses, parasites, or Mycobacterium tuberculosis)

- Patients previously infected or colonized with multidrug resistant pathogens and
moribund patients.
