Key inclusion & exclusion criteria

Inclusion Criteria:

- patients who seek orthopedics service with sudden onset of pain in the knee;

- age of 45 y.o. or more

- acceptance by signing the informed consent form.

Exclusion Criteria:

- acute trauma of knee

- other etiologies (post-traumatic, infectious, inflammatory diseases)

- pregnant women
