Key inclusion & exclusion criteria

Inclusion Criteria:

- Trauma patients with an injury severity score > 15, requiring mechanical ventilation
for at least 24 h during the first 48 h and an arterial catheter.

Exclusion Criteria:

- Pregnant and lactating women
