Study design:  Randomization: Randomized, Blinding: Not blinded, Placebo: Not used, Assignment: Parallel, Purpose: Supportive, Randomization description: A total of 60 specimens were randomly assigned to blocks (4 blocks) in 6 positions (AABB, ABAB, ABBA.BBAA, BABA.ABBA) with repetition of the blocks divided into two groups: test and scan.

Key inclusion & exclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Age 60 or older
Residents of the community (do not reside in the aging and study centers during the study)
On one or more knee joints with diagnosis of a physician with osteoarthritis
Chronic pain is at least 15 days per month at 4 (according to the numerical value of pain 10-10)
Non-dependence on wheelchairs and other means of assistance such as walkers
At least six months have not been practicing yoga or regular exercise
Be able to speak, read and understand Persian language
Have psychological health. Surveys are performed with a score of more than 7 of the cognitive function questionnaires (AMTs)
The GDS (Gestational Depression Inventory) score is 8-0
At the first meeting, the balance sheet test did not receive a score of less than 21
The participant does not have a significant impairment of vision or hearin
they do not have orthopedic surgeries and do not suffer from other musculoskeletal disorders
have not been injected intradermally within 30 days.

Exclusion criteria: Inability to participate in the weekly program
Exacerbation of pain and physical problems preventing further intervention. specialist medical advice Unwillingness to continue participating in research

Knee Osteoarthritis.
Gonarthrosis [arthrosis of knee]
Intervention(s)
Intervention 1: Intervention group:The members of this group will participate in 45-mintue sessions of the selected chair yoga exercises, held by the researcher twice a week for eight weeks. Each session includes meditation (10 minutes), stretching and traction exercises (25 minutes), and relaxing exercise for mind and body or Shavasana in the end (10 minutes). At the first session of intervention, they will fill FES-I(Fall Efficacy Scale-International)and WOMAC(Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index questionnaires), and Berg Balance Scale will be tested on them. The tests will be repeated in the fourth and last weeks. Data will be analyzed along with the data gained from the control group. Intervention 2: Control group:Concurrent with the intervention group, this group will be given the Berg Balance Scale as well as WOMAC and FES-l questionnaires at the beginning of the intervention, and in the fourth and eighth weeks. Data of both groups will be analyzed, and if proved to be effective, the selected exercises will be also done for the control group if they’d like.

Physical Function of knee. Timepoint: Beginning of the study, the fourth week and the eighth week of intervention. Method of measurement: Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index.
Balance. Timepoint: Beginning of the study, the fourth week and the eighth week of intervention. Method of measurement: Berg Balance Scale.
Fear of Falling. Timepoint: Beginning of the study, the fourth week and the eighth week of intervention. Method of measurement: Fall Efficacy Scale(International).
Knee joints pain. Timepoint: Beginning of the study, the fourth week and the eighth week of intervention. Method of measurement: Womac: Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Inde.
