Key inclusion & exclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria included: age 18 to 40 years old ? BMI 25 and higher ? literacy ?fluent Farsi ? without having hormonal disorders that cause excessive weight gain ? not taking medications that cause weight gain, without any a history of mental and physical diseases ? lack of a history of infertility? lack of indications high risk delivery?lack of follow the special diet for pregnant women.
Exclusion criteria: failure to attend one of the consultation sessions ? unwillingness to continue participation in the study.

intervention group: The intervention group in 4 sessions of 60 minutes based on the theory of planned behavior designed structures will be consulted and The content of the following counseling sessions by members of the faculty of nursing, midwifery, nutrition and health education will be reviewed and approved content. First session-
To raise awareness and emphasize the importance of dietary change (explain the objectives of the study, side effects and the impact of obesity on pregnancy, feeding behavior of individual estimates).During the meeting participants about the objectives of the study are explained.The study aims to determine the effect of counseling on diet changes that are overweight are prone to pregnancy.Risks of obesity in pregnancy and its complications in pregnancy and childbirth is said and About the need for changes in diet and maintaining a healthy weight is said to be.second session -Create a positive attitude about a proper diet and help to change attitudes .Du
