Key inclusion & exclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: More than 18 years patients with essential hypertension, being consecutive newly diagnosed without antihypertensive drugs in department of internal medicine, institute of cardiovascular disease, the provincial clinical medical college of Fujian Medical University.
Exclusion criteria: Secondary hypertension, CT images confirmed the presence of adrenal hyperplasia or adenoma; serious cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, such as acute myocardial infarction, heart failure, severe valvular heart disease, cerebral infarction, cerebral hemorrhage; severe liver and kidney dysfunction; serious disease of blood disease, severe infection, trauma, tumor and other organ or system; drug for long time uninterrupted take influence blood pressure, blood glucose, insulin; day and night shift workers.
