Tomás Pantoja is a family physician. He has an M.Sc. degree in Health Management from Imperial College Management School, London, United Kingdom, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Evidence-Based Health Care from the University of Oxford, Oxford, United Kingdom. Currently he is Assistant Professor at the Department of Family Medicine of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in Santiago, Chile, where he participates in teaching activities for family medicine residents in evidence-based health care and research methodology. He is editor with the Cochrane Effective Practice and Organisation of Care (EPOC) Group and is leading two projects related to the methodology of systematic reviews in health policy and systems research and knowledge translation strategies at the policy-making level.
