Juan Manuel Nardin is an obstetrician/gynaecologist working as a researcher in maternal and neonatal health at Centro Rosarino de Estudios Perinatales (CREP), Rosario, Argentina, which is a WHO Collaborative Centre for Maternal and Perinatal Health. He was trained as a clinical epidemiologist at the National Perinatal Epidemiology Unit, Oxford, United Kingdom, and at the Liverpool Women's Hospital, Liverpool, United Kingdom. His main interests include conducting randomized controlled trials of interventions to reduce the leading causes of maternal and neonatal morbidity and mortality (especially haemorrhage and preterm birth) and teaching evidence-based medicine. He is also a reviewer for the Pregnancy and Childbirth and the Fertility Regulation Review Groups of the Cochrane Collaboration.
