Dale Huntington's is current position is Scientist at the World Health Organization's Department of Reproductive Health and Research. His programme of work includes bringing evidence to inform public policy towards the private health sector, governance of sexual and reproductive health in the new aid environment, health financing systems, large-scale programme evaluation, and the relation between improvements in sexual and reproductive health and poverty reduction. He holds a Doctorate in Science degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health, Baltimore, MD, USA, specializing in health services research and evaluation. Prior to joining the World Health Organization he was a Senior Health Specialist at the World Bank, Washington, DC. He lived and worked in developing countries for 20 years. His assignments included Regional Director for the Population Council's operations research programmes in West Africa, the Middle-East and South and East Asia regions.
