F. Enrique Gómez, PhD, MSc, received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Biochemistry and Immunology from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). He obtained his PhD in Biochemistry at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, WI, USA. Dr. Gómez is a member of the “Sistema Nacional de Investigadores-MEXICO”. He is currently Head of the Nutrition and Immunology Laboratory at the Department of Nutritional Physiology at the at the Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Médicas y Nutrición Salvador Zubirán in Mexico City.
