Local opinion leaders effects on professional practice and health care outcomes

RHL practical aspects by Sguassero Y

FIRST CONTACT (PRIMARY CARE) LEVEL

At the primary health-care level in under-resourced settings, identifying local opinion leaders can be time-consuming and difficult. Further research is needed to assess the effectiveness of opinion leader-led interventions at this health-care level in both developed and developing countries.

REFERRAL HOSPITAL (SECONDARY CARE) LEVEL

More studies on this issue should be conducted to assess the effectiveness of opinion leader-led interventions at the secondary care level in developing countries.
