Prequalification: Training Workshop
Jakarta, Indonesia, 5 - 8 October 2009 The training workshop for Indonesian regulators and manufacturers of Reproductive Health medicines was organized focusing on technical aspects of GMP and on Quality and Bioequivalence data, which are frequently deficient in the dossiers submitted for prequalification. The workshop was organized in close collaboration with the Indonesian Association of Manufacturers (GPFI) and the National Authority for Food and Drug Control (NAFDC). In addition, half a day seminar was organized focusing on essential information about the WHO Prequalification of Medicines Programme. The objectives of the seminar were to inform interested Indonesian manufacturers about requirements and procedures of the WHO Prequalification of Medicines Programme, opportunities, which the Programme represents, and to stimulate interest to submit good quality medicines for WHO Prequalification. The meeting was organized in close cooperation with the Indonesian Manufacturers Association.
