Regulatory situation

Cote d'Ivoire has neither official legislative nor regulatory texts governing traditional medicine. There is no licensing process for traditional health practitioners, nor are there procedures for the official approval of traditional practices or remedies. Traditional medicine practitioners are not involved with primary health care in Cote d'Ivoire on either the local or national level (6).
