3. CONCLUSIONS

a) In times of liberalization and internationalization, it is imperative to design strong and dynamic mechanisms for surveillance and control;

b) Matching the significant progress that has been achieved in the regulation of a product quality, it is necessary to advance also in the (national and/or international) regulation that should harmonize and guarantee quality in the use of drugs through the development of criteria for rational use.
