United Arab Emirates. The Ministry of Health has withdrawn the marketing approval for pyrithione zinc (Skin-CapR), which is indicated for the treatment of dandruff or psoriasis. This follows concern raised by the FDA and Canada after closer analysis of the product revealed that it contained an (unlabelled) prescription strength corticosteroid (clobetasol).
