Qualifications

  • Training

  • Practical experience

    - manufacture and/or quality control

  • Academic qualifications

    - pharmacists, chemists, scientists

    - pharmaceutical industry background

Inspectors should have previous training and practical experience in the manufacture and/or quality control of pharmaceutical products.

Suitable educational backgrounds for inspectors are pharmacy, chemistry or microbiology. Personal experience in industrial pharmaceutical production provides some practical knowledge to support the inspector's approach to companies.
