This document was commissioned by SIDA, department for democracy and social development. This study summarizes the National Drug Policy in Lao that was approved in 1993 with the help of SIDA. Lao is one of the least-developed countries in South-East Asia with much work need to improve their drug policy. The document looks at different projects within the larger program and gives suggestions for further improvement.
