The 2009 report on tuberculosis (TB) control in the WHO Western Pacific Region presents data on disease burden, case notifications in 2007 and treatment outcomes for patients registered in 2006. The report also includes information on drug resistance, TB-HIV co-infection, laboratory services, profiles of seven countries with a high burden of TB in the Region, and a summary of the epidemiological indicators in Pacific island countries and areas in the Region.
