Bacitracin methylene disalicylate soluble: approved for prevention and control of necrotic enteritis: United States of America.

The Food and Drug Administration has approved the use of soluble bacitracin methylene disalicylate powder to make a medicated drinking water for replacement chickens as an aid in the prevention and control of necrotic enteritis. The dosage is 100 mg per gallon for prevention and 200 mg to 400 mg of bacitracin methylene disalicylate for control of necrotic enteritis caused by Clostridium perfringens.
