These guidelines are intended to promote harmonization of pharmaceutical inspection practices among WHO Members States. They are directed to government inspectors...to assist them in assessing manufacturers' compliance with good manufacturing practices (GMP). They will also be of value to manufacturers themselves when engaged in self-inspection or audit.
