Under the auspices of the MPAC, three standing Technical Expert Groups (TEGs) have been established: on Chemotherapy, on Drug Resistance and Containment, and on Vector Control. There is also a Joint Technical Expert Group (JTEG) on Malaria Vaccines Entering Pivotal Phase 3 Trials and Beyond.

Vector Control Advisory group (VCAG)
A Vector Control Advisory group (VCAG) on new tools has been jointly established by the Neglected Tropical Diseases Department and the Global Malaria Programme to evaluate “proof of principle” regarding new tools/technologies for malaria vector control.
Technical Expert Group on Malaria Vector Control
To address broader gaps in policies for malaria vector control, in particular technical guidance for malaria vector control programmes, a Technical Expert Group (TEG) on Malaria Vector Control has been established by GMP on the recommendation of MPAC.
