dc.description.abstractThis publication, global adult tobacco survey: Thailand country report, summarizes the findings of the global adult tobacco survey: Thailand. The survey contains information on key indicators of tobacco control in Thailand such as tobacco use, cessation, second-hand smoke, economics of tobacco consumption, media issues focusing on tobacco and knolwedge, and attitudes and perceptions related to tobacco use and its harmful effects. It will also assist the country to fulfill its obligations under the World Health Organization Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (‎FCTC)‎ and MPOWER policy package to generate comparable data whthin and across countries.en_US
