|Abstract:||The compendium of maternal and neonatal health strategies in the South-East Asia Region includes four technical papers presented in high leverl meetings from 2005 till 2009: i) Skilled Care at Every Birth, ii) Managing Human Resources for Accelerating Reduction of Maternal and Neonatal Mortalities, iii) Accelerating Progress in Maternal, Newborn and Child Health through Multisectoral Actions in South-East Asia and iv) Sociocultural Approaches to Accelerate the Reduction of Maternal and Neonatal Mortality: A Strategic Framework for Asia-Pacific. These technical papers provide key strategies to address maternal and neonatal health issues, which serve as easy references for policy makers, programme managers and researchers interested about working in this area. The compendium also includes a paer on Maternal and Neonatal Health Situation in South-EAst Asia Region as the background information on the current situation of the target groups in the Region.|
