(2016-05)This descriptive study evaluated the nutrient adequacy of the diet of infants [aged 6-11.9 months] and toddlers [aged 12-24 months] in the United Arab Emirates. A random sample of 1000 infants and toddlers was recruited from 2 cities [Al Ain and Dubai] from March 2011 to February 2012 and their usual nutrient intake was determined using 24-hour recall.
