AbstractThis report covers general aspects and significance of environmental asbestos pollution, taking into account the situation in the EMR, where some information was already available together with the collection of additional information based on replies to questionnaires sent to Member States. Based on the conclusions arrived in the study, some recommendations are made for the guidance of Member States, especially the Ministry of Health
