الاستراتيجية الاقليمية لمجابهة القطاع الصحى لفيروس العوز المناعى البشرى 2011-2015
AbstractThe purpose of this regional strategy for health sector response to HIV 2011-2015 is to advocate for urgent action by Member States to enhance the contribution of the health sector to achieving universal access to HIV prevention, treatment, care and support and, ultimately, to attaining the Millennium Development Goals (MDG). While overall adult HIV prevalence has remained low, at an average estimated 0.2%, evidence has accumulated that the epidemic is gaining hold in sub-groups of the population at increased risk associated with injecting drug use or risky sexual behaviour. Primarily, the regional strategy promotes expansion of coverage and improvement of quality of known effective health sector interventions that are already part of the existing regional strategies
