AbstractA comprehensive "Healthy children in healthy families" project is to be implemented within the WHO countryside integrated noncommunicable disease intervention (CINDI) programme network. To this end a CINDI Working Group on Children and Youth was formed to elaborate and implement a strategic plan for the development of the project. The aim of this meeting was to discuss the current status of collaboration in implementing the CINDI approach for the primary prevention of noncommunicable diseases in children and adolescents, and to outline a plan of action for the future
