|Abstract:||The Second Annual Meeting was attended by representatives from 31 WHO European Member States, together with temporary advisers and observers from international associations and other WHO professional forums. The meeting elected the Forum officers and received reports on the funding and membership of the Forum. Principles for evaluating the Forum's activities were agreed, and reports on four task groups were presented. Participants considered the concept of the "family nurse" as set out in Health21: the health for all policy framework for the WHO European Region through presentations and group work. The Forum concluded with a draft statement presented for further refinement by members, which endorsed the nursing and midwifery contribution to Health21|
