Fourth workshop on WHO family health nurse multinational study : intercountry evaluation : report, Glasgow, Scotland 20-21 January 2005
AbstractThe fourth WHO Family Health Nurse Multinational Study Workshop was planned as a knowledge-sharing and action-learning workshop for all countries participating in the Family Health Nurse study. It aimed to: review progress on the implementation of the family health nurse projects in each participating country; prepare participants from each country for the data collection phases of the intercountry evaluation; assist participants in the preparation of country plans for the data collection for this study; to review the challenges faced in implementing a new nursing service in a country and identify issues that will inform future projects. Representatives attended the meeting from ten European Member States. The establishment of the WHO Regional Office for Europe Multinational Study on the Family Health Nurse is in line with the spirit of the Declaration. The outcomes of the overall study are intended to inform policymakers on the most effective way of developing community nursing and related services in the future
