High-level Commissions on Preparedness

As its starting point, the GPMB is monitoring recommendations for strengthening preparedness issued by the United Nations Secretary-General’s High-Level Panel on the Global Response to Health Crises in 2016 and the United Nations Secretary-General’s Global Health Crises Task Force in 2017, along with global high level panel and expert reviews conducted in the wake of the 2014-16 Ebola outbreak in West Africa, the 2009 H1N1 influenza pandemic, and other recent health emergencies:
