The Sixty-sixth World Health
Assembly was held at the Palais des Nations, Geneva, from 20 to 27
May 2013, in accordance with the decision of the Executive Board at
its 131st session.1 The theme for the general
discussion in plenary meetings was “How to ensure the place of
health in the next generation of global development goals”.2
