Rio+20 Side Event - Health within the Green Economy: Multisectoral Frameworks for NCD Control & Sustainable Development

The NCD Alliance is co-organizing several side events in Rio de Janeiro during the UN Conference on Sustainable Development, Rio+20 (20-22 June 2012). Organized with the American Cancer Society, this panel will discuss how multisectoral frameworks for sustainable development can help create environments that promote health and help prevent and control NCDs. The planel will focus on three development challenges: nutrition, healthy cities, and tobacco control.
