This Digital Uterine Cervix Histopathology and Cytopathology Atlas of Basic Reference is intended for practising pathologists, cytotechnologists and technicians. It is also suitable for resident pathologists training in medical schools and for cytology technicians, particularly in developing countries.
This interactive CD-ROM contains over 1200 images obtained from various on-going and completed IARC cervical cancer screening and prevention projects in different countries, which have been extensively reviewed by project staff, as well as by quality control pathologists.
This product will contribute to improving the diagnostic standards of pre-invasive cervical lesions in low-resource settings and will be an important training tool.
Cet atlas numérique de référence sur l'histopathologie et la cytopathologie du col utérin est destiné aux anatomopathologistes, aux techniciens en cytologie et autres techniciens en activité. Il sera également utile aux internes en anatomopathologie en formation dans des écoles de médecine et aux techniciens en cytologie, en particulier dans les pays en développement.
Ce CD-ROM interactif contient plus de 1200 images obtenues à partir de divers projets de dépistage et de prévention du cancer du col utérin, en cours ou menés à terme dans divers pays par le CIRC, images qui ont été analysées dans le détail par le personnel du projet ainsi que par des anatomopathologistes chargés du contrôle de la qualité.
Ce produit permettra d'améliorer le diagnostic des lésions préinvasives du col utérin dans les endroits disposant de peu de moyens et constituera un important outil de formation.
